It wasn't easy but it will be worth it! After having a delayed flight out of Kansas City that nearly caused the team to miss their connection from Chicago to Kathmandu. Randy was told that it was not likely that he could get the entire team on the flight so he was making plans to send a portion of the team ahead to Kathmandu as there is only one flight every other day. God prevailed and allowed the entire team to board an alternative flight on standby. The team arrived safely in Kathmandu but some of their luggage has yet to make it to the airport. Pray for Justin Craig as he uses his survival skills to live out of the backpack of someone else.
After spending a day learning about the construction practices necessary to build temporary shelter, the team then headed out to the village located 6 hours east of Kathmandu. After arriving in the area near the village the team will finished the trip by hiking up mountain trails to their final destination.
Please pray for the team as they will build their tent city in the village and prepare to build shelter for the villagers. Pray for our friend living in Nepal as he leads this team while managing the other responsibilities of his business in Nepal. Most importantly pray for the villagers to see light of Christ through the lives of all those participating in this trip.
If you would like to donate to this effort you can do so by going to the Nepali Relief Fund page and donating online, or designating through your offerings to God via HBF.
