The HS leaders, Luke and Brenda Fleshman along with their leadership team invest in young hearts to live out James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.
Investing in teens happens three ways.
First is solid focused applicational bible study
Each Wednesday night after gathering to worship and sing praise to God our teens learn to hear from God through relevant and vibrant Bible study. This Fall the teens will conclude a survey of the New Testament then learn how to respond to the challenges to their faith every day.
Sunday mornings are filled with praise and worship followed by in depth Bible teaching applicable to teen life with the goal of strengthening faith while meeting teens where they are at. The study of the life of Joseph is having a powerful impact this Fall.
Second is through personal biblical discipleship
We want our teens to have every opportunity to suceed and we do that with one on one relational biblical discipleship. By connecting teens with a caring adult they are assured they are loved, cared for, and that they are important to God. Discipleship is a great way to learn to walk in the light of God's love.
Third is through an emphasis on missions
On the first Friday of every month we gather for fellowship and fun at a ministry members home. This is a great way to let teens relax, have fun, and its also a great place to invite their friends.
On the third Saturday of every month we come together for an event or outreach opportunity. These opportunities stretch the teens and teach them importance of serving God and serving each other. The activities vary from month to month so stay up to date by checking out the high school class facebook page.
Annually both national and international missions trips opportunities are offered to teens. These trips expose our teens to the global nature of God and His mission in the world. The trips vary yearly so stay tuned to the class facebook page or check in with the class leaders for more information.
Fellowship & Fun
Join us every 4th Friday or Saturday for our Student (Jr. High & High School) events. Specific dates and times vary so please contact Luke Fleshman for details.
