Texas Flood Relief

Many have asked how HBF can help with relief for the hundreds of thousands of people displaced by the massive flooding resulting from Hurricane Harvey. HBF is looking at several possilbe scenarios for help. Some of it is finanical, some help may come physcially, but all is through prayer.

HBF has been in touch with the BBFI or Baptist Bible Fellowship International in Springfield MO to see how we can help them. They are asking for charitable donations to fund rescue and relief efforts. You can help them by giving on HBF's online giving page (Click HERE) or give to them directly.

Another avenue we have discussed is working with Operation Renewed Hope which works directly with churches in the afflicted areas to bring food and water and critical essentials immediately after the need arises to allow the local church to meet the needs of their members. We are considering putting a team together to go to Houston to work with local churches doing demolition and clean up work when the water recides.

For now please continue to pray for the glory of the Lord to previal over all the people there including resuce workers and agencies. As things change emails will be sent to keep HBF church members updated on the plans for help.
