Rejoicing In God's Goodness

 Sunday October 17th was a great day of activity and celebration. After a full day of teaching, preaching, preparing scripture and evangelism HBF came together Sunday evening at 6:00PM for a special service and celebration. After service the entire congregation made our way to the new playground area where hot chocolate and refreshments were prepared. As the sunset brought the dark of night, Mitch Newland, who leads our children's ministry, spoke to all who gathered of God's love for children and for us as he dedicated the use of the new playground to God's glory and the children of HBF. It was a glorious message and a great time for all. As darkness fell upon the property Mitch and several other men, launched fireworks in celebration of all God had done. At first it was a fairly small display with a few fountains but as the evening wore one, the sophistication and scale of the fireworks increased to quite an impressive fireworks celebration! The evening was a great joy as we all came together to rejoice in God's goodness to HBF. The scripture says the fruit of the womb is the Lord's reward and we are so thankful to be able to utilize the property and our children's time at church to make memories that will last a lifetime.  If you have not visited HBF, we would love to see you and your family.
