The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it. Psalms 68:11
I had the great privilege to sit down with Pastor Brandon Briscoe of Midtown Baptist Temple to discuss the story of Bible Publishing at Heartland Baptist Fellowship (HBF). In this conversation we touch on our history of bible publishing and the journey God has brought HBF through to establish Word First Bible Publishing.
God is doing great things in the Word First Bible Publishing ministry as we trust God to transform the ministry from a once or twice per year conference to an ongoing ministry throughout the year. By God's grace we are trusting God with a vision to produce custom bible projects for local churches, missionaries and ministries in quantities and with the customization that maximizes their ability to accomplishing God's mission.
Recently Word First Bible Publishing acquired an additional 600 square foot of the Amory (Our publishing and storage facility behind the main building at HBF) to assist in the material handling needs for the projects we need to assemble in 2020. In addition to the 20,000 to 25,000 Chichewa New Testaments we plan to assemble at our fall Bible Conference, Word First is committed to assembling thousands of bibles for our ministry partners in Sierra Leone, Jamaica, Mexico, and local churches and ministries here in the United States.
If you want to know more about the Word First ministry and how you can be involved, contact Pastor Randy Foster or go to Word First's webpage for information on upcoming projects. If you would like to support a project you may find ways to do that online as well at the Word First Bible Publishing webpage.
If you are not part of the story of assembling and sending God's word, we invite you to participate with all those among our publishing partners, churches and ministries to participate in getting God's word in the hands and hearts of souls all over the world.
