Sunday evening September 6, 2020 HBF was blessed with a special visit from Joe and Amy Hendrigsman. The Hendrigsman's have served the Lord faithfully in Oaxaca, Mexico for several years. After preaching in the morning at New Life Baptist in Clinton, they spent the day with their HBF prayer TEAM leaders and joined HBF for the evening service. Both of our churches have a special relationship with the Hendrigsman's that is Philadelphian as we desire to see God open doors no man can shut to the peoples of South West Mexico and all of Latin America.
Joe preached a great message from Luke 16:10 about serving God about the servant and the pitcher of water. Brother Joe pointed out several things about this passage we can apply to serving our Lord:
1. Serve faithfully (Be prepared to serve faithfully)
2. Serve with gladness.
3. Serve humbly (with no concern about being famous)
4. Serve as an example so you lead as an example.
After Joe's message we enjoyed a season of prayer in small groups and enjoyed great fellowship for about two more hours in the foyer. it was really a great time!
Please remember to pray for the Hendrigsmans as they work on finishing the medical clinic and pharmacy, distribute the word of God in the regions around their church plant, train pastors for new church plants and minister to the souls of Oaxaca.
If you are interested in praying for the Hendrigsman's please see Mitch Newland who heads up the Hendrigsman's prayer TEAM (Together Everyone Advances Missions). They meet monthly in homes and enjoy fellowship and prayer together by God's grace and for God's glory.
