Psalm 119

Join us Sunday 9/11/2016 to study Psalm 119. The longest chapter in the bible is a psalm about itself. Every stanza of the book of Psalm 119 references the priority and the precious nature of the word of God. 

This Sunday will be the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attack against the US on September 11, 2001. Americans intuatively turned to God after the events of 9/11/2001 and flooded churches only to quickly go back to the apathy if not outright rebellion against God. Since 9/11/2001 our country has changed and not just in aspects of homeland security. Today many feel insecure and unsure about the world in which we live as racial, financial and all sorts of pressures mount, it seems like many are ready to boil over. If that is you, it's a great time to wade into the water of Psalm 119. God's word is a light unto our path and it is a lamp unto our feet. When things seem dark, like they did 15 years ago on 9/11, Psalm 119 is a great place to find light and life in the power of God's word.
