Fun In the Son Celebration

Wednesday night September 5, Brady Barnes hosted a celebration for our 2018 summer Fun In The Son children's ministry at HBF. This past summer Brady and his wife Holly along with a faithful team of servants from HBF taught our elementary aged children about the 12 apostles. Each Wednesday evening through the summer the lesson the apostles was accompanied by a game and crafts that made their time fun and enjoyable while reinforcing the lesson.

Each child who attended throughout the summer received a certificate highlighting their contribution throughout the summer. After the award presentation we heard a sermon from on 1 Samuel Chapter 3 on the need to invest the word of God in the children of HBF. We concluded the evening with hamburgers and hot dogs off the grille and ice cream for dessert. It was a great conclusion to a great Fun In The Son summer season.

The fun doesn't stop with Fun In The Son. This Wednesday night September 12 HBF launches TNT, (Training iN Truth) begining a nine month season of ministry to our children Wednesday night thorugh the school year. You can find out more information at the Heartland Baptist Fellowship website.
