Celebration HBF's Deacon Installation!

Sunday evening May 7th, Heartland Baptist Fellowship installed seven deacons into the office of Deacon. We order our Deacon rotation on two year basis to give the body of Christ opportunity to select new deacons and allow existing deacons to take a respite or transition to an emeritus status as required.

This year six of the seven Deacons were selected along with Brady Barnes who will be serving his first term as Deacon. The Sunday evening service was attended by friends, family and church family and included a great time of praise, a testimony from Brady Barnes and a message from Pastor Brian charging the Deacons and thier wives from scripture. The service concluded with a season of prayer from the Pastoral team over the Deacons. A wonderful reception ensued with great celebrtion and fellowship by all. It was a very joyous event for all involved.

We look forward to the care these men and their wives will take for Jesus' body and his testimony in the years to come.
