Jim Stovall

 Jim grew up in east Independence and graduated from Fort Osage High School.  He trusted Christ as his saviour when he was 19 years old while attending Waldo Avenue Baptist Church in Independence, MO.  Jim married his high school sweetheart Sherrie in 1984 and they have two adult children.  While attending Kansas City Baptist Temple they completed Discipleship 1, Discipleship 2, and served in various ministries.  Jim and Sherrie joined HBF in 2013 and are currently serving in the Life Issues Addiction Recovery ministry and the Kingdom Seekers children’s ministry.   Jim is honored to be selected as a deacon and is looking forward to serving his church family.
