Editor’s Note: George Grace, Pastor Emeritus of First Bible Baptist Church in Rochester, N.Y., will be speaking at the Fall Bible Conference at HBF coming up Sept. 16-19. Pastor Grace answered a few questions for us leading up to his coming to Harrisonville.

Q. What has you most excited about coming to speak at the HBF Fall Bible Conference?

A. I always like meeting new people who are excited about doing ministry and I know that I will have some time to spend with old friends.

Q. Why is the physical act of assembling Bibles important for us?

A. It is relatively easy to give money for a Bible project, relatively speaking. Giving your actual time, labor and talent engages you in the work in a deeper sense. We get to see the immediate results of our giving.

Q. How did you and Pastor Hedges come to know one another?

A. We know one another through several mutual acquaintances, particularly in the Kansas City area. I go way back to youth camps in the 1970s and ‘80s when many of the pastors and wives were young men and women in those camps.

Q. What can people at HBF pray for leading up to your visiting and speaking here?

A. Pray for God’s guidance, leadership and blessing on the people and the work of the conference and for a fresh appreciation of our Bible. Begin praying for those who will be on the receiving end of these Scriptures!

Be sure to attend to hear Pastor Grace speak, as well as to assemble Bibles. For more information, go to the Bible Conference event page.
