We see Paul stand before Felix and finish his message to both Felix and the Jewish leadership. Paul stood upon the promises of Christ delivered in his incarceration in Acs 23:11! "Be of good cheer". Paul "cheerfully answered for himself" (Acts 24:10) because he knew the Lord stood with him in trouble to give him opprotunity to preach the gospel to both Felix the Roman govenor and his brethren from Israel.
Take away: When trouble comes, we need to seek the opportunity to share Christ because he stands with us and is in us! When we do this it brings honor and glory to God and moves us closer to glory ourselves.
