Join us for our 15th annual Bible Conference beginning Wednesday September 11th and going through Sunday September 15th. This year, we will be assembling 5,000 Spanish whole Bibles for Missionary Joe Hendrigsman and will also be preparing 4,000 English whole Bibles which will be used for future projects.
For those who have not been able to participate in years past, this is a great opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to lay their hands on the Word of God and put them together, knowing that they will land in the hands of people who don't have a Bible to call their own.
Our church building will be transformed into an assembly line where we will take sections of pages of scripture called signatures and collate them. From there, they will be transported to our rolling rooms where the signatures will be rolled to crease the fold and improve the final product. After rolling, the Bibles will be checked to ensure they are ready to be sent to the binding room where a cover will be added. The Bibles with covers will then be moved out to our Armory where the excess edges will be trimmed and the Bibles will be put into boxes to be ready to ship to their final destination.
