The HBF Vision Conference is coming up fast, running from April 3-6. Hear from missionaries and pastors from around the country and world. With sessions during the day, and evening service Sunday through Wednesday, you won't want to miss out. 

Have you ever been so busy or embroiled in circumstances that cause the series of events you have lived through to be a blur? I know for many of us, life is much like a war, day to day, battle to battle striving for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I have even joked with my pastor friends about having eternity to rest.

In February, two important men visited HBF. And among their activities was teaching the children of HBF. The first was missionary Lee Carter, who serves in the Dominican Republic. The second was Pastor Gary Haskel who serves as Senior Pastor of Jackson Baptist Church in Jackson, Pennsylvania. Both of these men took time from their important ministry to the adults to invest in our children.

The worship service on Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, marked 20 years of HBF. It was great to gather and commemorate this great occasion with a picture, cake and remembering all that God has done for the people of HBF in the past two decades. 

Yes, it's true. HBF has its very own library. And has for many years. Located in the East hallway, the library is free for anyone to use. You are free to peruse and check out books anytime the church is open. 

Starting in January 2022, the Bible team set out to complete 1,700 bibles. About 1,200 were to go to the Jackson County Jail Chaplain office in Kansas City to minister to the incarcerated men and women there. The remaining Bibles went to a local church -- Grace and Truth Baptist Church -- to use as their guest bibles in their main sanctuary.
