Today it seems there are a myriad of storms raging all around us. Personal storms, work storms, relational storms, political storms, literal storms, the list goes on. We would like to think that these storms are unique to us, but they are not. Even the apostle Paul said, For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears. (II Corinthians 7:5)

Every year, Heartland Baptist Fellowship goes on an adventure to Monmouth, Ill. The destination is Maple City Baptist Church, with Senior Pastor Mike Blake and Associate Pastor Beau Green. MCBC has an annual mission conference in November, HBF has the distinct honor and privilege to be a part of it every year. HBF’s contribution is to take care of the children so the children’s ministry workers at MCBC can participate fully in the conference.

We thank the Lord for his provision of good weather, good funding, and lots of manpower for the replacement of HBF's handicap concrete project. This three-day (Nov. 5, 6 and 8) project was also successful due to the sacrifice, equipment, and planning of the Junior Alvarez family and his partners.

We want to cordially invite you to join us for our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service from 6-7 p.m. at HBF.

Come to enjoy a sweet time of fellowship, friendship, and Biblical focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

We will enjoy a time of praise, preaching, and prayer as we celebrate Christ together. We also have special gifts for children and teens at the conclusion of the service.

The 2022 HBF Coed Volleyball season is nearly here. Childcare will be provided so you and the entire family can come out and enjoy a great season of volleyball.

Players must be at leat 16 years old. Registration fee is $25 per person, which includes a t-shirt
